It all began with a simple idea fuelled by passion to positively effect peoples mental health and reduce the rate of suicide in Australia.
Our approach is rooted in community, compassion and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to humanity.
How this works!
In a nutshell all it takes is:
* A reason:
The desire and will to assist people in your community
* Choose your community:
Your community can be as small or large as you choose
* Register as a Here 2 Hear Hero:
* There are a number of options available, for as low as $10 for 12 months membership
* Complete our basic training:
Improve your listening skills, by completing a 15 minute video tutorial to run through the basics of effective listening
* A little courage:
To declare that your community you are Here 2 Hear
* Time to listen in confidence
The duration and frequency of listening sessions is your choice
The content of which is to remain private and confidential
If after a session you need to speak we will be Here2Hear
